The Journey of the new yacht Servant
We are pleased to share our journey of the YACHT SERVANT with you — our newest edition to our semi-submersible fleet.
Christening Yacht Servant
On June 6th 2022 we celebrated the Christening of the YACHT SERVANT in Palma de Mallorca. After years of preparations, we can truly say that a new era in yacht transport is here. The YACHT SERVANT has over 6,300msq deck space and measures 214.17 in length and 46 meters across the beam with a draft of 4.6 meters. She also features a new specialized deck located behind the bridge built to accommodate tenders, containers, and small race boats. As you can see we are (more than) ready to serve you.

Keel Laying Ceremony
A major milestone in the construction of DYT’s new Yacht Servant
July 30, 2020 – Yantai, China. DYT Yacht Transport (member of the Spliethoff Group), together with CIMC Raffles Offshore, hosted the Keel laying ceremony for the H485, a Y-Type semi-submersible vessel. ‘We are not only celebrating the laying of the keel, it also marks the start of a new era in yacht transportation’ says Laura Tempest, DYT’s General Manager. “This will be the largest semi-submersible vessel dedicated to transporting yachts built to date.”
The keel laying ceremony is an old maritime tradition to symbolize good luck wishes for the construction of the ship and throughout her life. During the coin ceremony, a commemorative coin, a Dollar coin and a Euro coin were placed under the keel to wish the vessel and her highly valued crewmembers good fortune and safe passage.
We are looking forward to the next milestone which will be the launch. Keep following our voyage in the realization of the next level in yacht transport.

The first piece of steel is cut.
March 30, 2020 – With humble pride we would like to share with you that the construction phase of our ‘Yacht Servant’ (H485 Y-Type semi-submersible) at the CIMC Raffles yard in China has started. In light of the current developments around Covid-19, we decided not to organize a large celebration but we also didn’t want this happening to go by unnoticed.

In order to able to meet and exceed your future needs we will present to you our new semi-submersible vessel in September 2021. The new vessel is a combination of our spirit, heritage and mission to offer efficient, hassle-free and on-time services to super yachts.
The ‘Yacht Servant’ will be the third and largest semi-submersible vessel in the DYT fleet. It will fly under Dutch flag and is set to join the fleet in September 2021.
Once completed her specifications will be as follows: LOA 213.7 metres, beam 46 metres, draught 4.6 metres enabling us to transport even larger yachts and access more remote destinations. In addition, the innovative design and enhanced stability will result in reduced carbon footprint.
