St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands

St. Thomas 18°23’N 64°56’W

Have you always wanted to sail to The US Virgin Islands? The US Virgin Islands are 64 km (40 miles) east of Puerto Rico. This beautiful area includes three main islands – St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John – as well as 60-odd cays and some of the most magnificent coastlines on earth. Would you like to visit these hotspots? Feel free to contact our representatives. We offer reliable boat transport to St. Thomas, where you can begin exploring all three of these magnificent islands. We encourage you to choose one as your next destination. Take a look at our sailing schedules above!

For bustling beaches, exciting nightlife, and exceptional shopping, look to St. Thomas. Its heavy development, North American atmosphere, and crowds of cruise ship visitors make it the least distinctive of the islands and the most visited. Tourism and boat shipping to St. Thomas is among the highest in the Caribbean.

For unspoiled scenery and quiet surroundings, head to St. John. Much of the isle is federally protected, so it’s like St. Thomas’ alter ego. The coral reefs, hiking trails, and small resorts on St. John have been a model for other ecotourism efforts in the Caribbean.

Somewhere between St. Thomas and St. John’s extremes is St. Croix, perhaps the most typical of other Caribbean islands. It has a fair amount of shopping and other attractions but balances them with a relaxed atmosphere and historic architecture. While spending all of your time on one island is possible, we suggest you take advantage of the variety.

DYT Yacht Transport offers hassle-free boat transport services to St. Thomas for clients who want to visit the beauty, tranquillity, and excitement of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Airport

There are international airports in both St Thomas and St Croix.
From the US, there are direct flights from several US destinations.
Often, these flights land in St Thomas first and then go on to St Croix. Most flights from Europe connect via Miami or San Juan in Puerto Rico.

A weekend ferry does the dash between St John’s Cruz Bay and St Thomas’s Charlotte Amalie and Fajardo in Puerto Rico.
Tons of cruise ships dock in the US Virgin Islands, most at Charlotte Amalie, one of the Caribbean’s most popular cruise destinations.
Plenty of ships also call at Frederiksted on St Croix.
