Since 1987, DYT Yacht Transport, formerly DOCKWISE YACHT TRANSPORT, has made it its mission to deliver yachts safely, reliably, and on time to the world’s most sought-after destinations.

Our story begins with a Dutch couple, Jeff and Gina Last, whose passion for innovation and yachting led to a groundbreaking idea. At the time, they were working at Wijsmuller, where they saw yacht owners’ challenges in moving their vessels across oceans efficiently and without wear and tear. They envisioned a dedicated float-on/float-off vessel designed solely for yacht transport to guarantee fixed schedules, safe handling, and seamless logistics.

In 1987, that vision became reality with the launch of the first yacht carrier, Super Servant 6. Its submersible design, reinforced with protective side walls made of railway sleepers, provided a revolutionary solution, ensuring yachts were sheltered from the elements during transport. What began as an innovative idea quickly became the gold standard for the yacht transport industry.

As captains and yacht owners know, seasonal migration is essential to charter success and yacht enjoyment. Jeff and Gina understood this deeply. Their personal touch and commitment to reliability led to the creation of fixed transport routes perfectly aligned with superyachts’ seasonal movements. The efficiency of the float-on/float-off system allowed owners and crew to rest easy, knowing their yachts would arrive exactly when expected.

This commitment to on-time delivery remains the heart of DYT. Today, we are the preferred yacht transport provider worldwide, trusted by owners, captains, and management companies who demand precision, safety, and reliability.

From those early days to today’s cutting-edge fleet, DYT has continued to evolve. The foundation for our safe and efficient transport method can now be seen in our modern flagship, YACHT EXPRESS, a 209-meter (658-foot) yacht carrier with towering side walls designed for maximum security and efficiency.

After years of preparation and continuous innovation, we introduced our next-generation vessel in January 2022: YACHT SERVANT. Yacht Servant redefines what’s possible in yacht logistics. It spans 214.17 meters (702.66 feet) in length, with 6,300 square meters of deck space and a specialized deck for tenders, containers, and small race boats.
